I think many clients will really enjoy our February release. It includes some a really nice upgrade to our Subscriber Upload functionality, Virtual Inbox is being enhanced with mobile devices, The Newsletter creation process is being improved and we are adding Send Time Optimization.
Send Time Optimization is the one that I am most looking forward to. The Informz Analytics Center has long helped our clients look at their mailing statistics by day and time to help them find the ideal time to send. The problem is that every subscriber has their own unique best time when they are usually at their computer and in the mood to read email. Send Time Optimization will find this best time for each of our client's subscribers and deliver the email at that time. This is an automated continuous learning process. As more data is available or if a subscriber changes their behavior the system will learn and adapt.
This should mean higher open rates for our clients and more informed subscribers. I'm really looking forward to the studies that we do around this new feature.
Wow, this sounds very interesting. I assume it looks at the time of day past emails have been opened - but I'm wondering what else.
Can you offer some more details about how this works? Like which metrics does this feature utilize & how is the data continuously updated to find a more accurate time of day?
